Consider Harvest Moon Gardens, a secluded day retreat in the middle of the most (wildflowers, hiking trails, open spaces with great views). Located in Jackson County North Carolina, surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest, and situated in the geographic, cultural, and archeological heart of the Southern Appalachian mountains, Harvest Moon Gardens offers a unique homelike setting for whatever work or contemplation you have in mind.
Inside the retreat you will find an open room and kitchen facilities, best suited for groups of 13 or less. Upstairs, smaller rooms are great for break-out space or use our wide view- inspired porches and decks in good weather.
If your group desires overnight accommodations, we have excellent arrangements with two fine local bed and breakfast inns and a cabin or two, only ten minutes away. and In addition to the ideal spaces, Harvest Moon Gardens offers:
- Catered meals and snacks
- Fresh spring water from one of our five springs
- A fire circle for singing, roasting marshmallows or other outdoor activities

- Lovely bridges over creeks and small waterfalls
